Yup, that’s why I think there’s so much anecdotal evidence that competing nutrition plans work. One way or another, you’ve got use some self restraint in the amount of calories you take in. Moderation is built into all of the programs. Think about it.

As I said last week, partisans in the Ultimate Food Fight are passionate, generally sincere, well educated, insistent “science” is on their side, and convinced that they are right.

- They all have science to back them up.
- They all have anecdotal evidence to back them up.
- They all have claims to “the healthiest lifestyle.”
- They all claim to be the cure for a host, if not all, of contemporary ills.
- They all have doctors who swear up and down about the validity of the program.
- They all have sincere, dedicated, smart practitioners with “success” stories.
- THEY ALL HAVE ASPECTS THAT IS IN DIRECT CONFLICT WITH ALL RIVAL PROGRAMS!
