At the outset, can I suggest we reframe the original claim that Americans are becoming more obese? I’d prefer that instead we – myself and you the Fit True readership – stop saying that “We are becoming more Fat/Obese.” Instead let’s say, “WE ARE BECOMING LESS FIT.”
Don’t feel like you’ve got to do all ten of these. Just pick one or two. My guess is that one or two would actually be easy to implement so maybe pick a 3d that would be a bit more challenging.
I want them to understand that good training means that we implement a good program based on their goals. Then after they’ve executed the program we assess how the programs effected them and make an informed adjustment to their new program.
GOOD NUTRITION BEGINS IN THE GROCERY STORE. It might sound ridiculously simple, but it is true. Good nutrition begins AND ENDS in the grocery store. Think about it. You eat what’s in your house.
